Peter Healy reports that the Temagami Municipal Council was unable to agree on a replacement for Councillor John Kenrick who resigned recently. Mr. Kenrick did an admirable job creating the town’s budget over the past few years and will be missed by all taxpayers. Mr. Kenrick’s resignation letter is attached.
Three nominees stepped forward to replace him however, in closed session, Municipal Councillors were unable to agree on a replacement. As a result a by election, using mail in ballots, will be held. A Notice of Nomination for Office is attached to this report.
